Completed: AWS re:Invent Livestreams – Nov 26-29, 2018 (Keynote and Launchpad)
re:Invent 2018 keynote livestream announced some good enhancements to current services but what caught my attention was some services announced that I was waiting to hear about:
– AWS FSx – Support for Windows File Systems
– AWS and VMWare services integrations
– AWS Security Hub
– AWS Outpost for on-prem and off-prem transparency
The AWS Launchpad Livestreams were very helpful with in-depth talks and demos on the different services launched.
My take –
There were a lot of other great additions…what I like most is that AWS listen to their customer concerns/interests, process the feedback and continue to improve on their service offerings.
Now that Amazon has the ball in their court, they are totally running with it…
